An agreed LCC model and specification for an LCC software tool has been developed and finalised since the start of the Urban Track project. Specification and model are an approved deliverable of Sub Project 4. Numerous discussions with operators across Europe have been held during the development process and pdf versions of these presentations are available for registered users in the download section.

The LCC software has been implemented and is available on-line not only for partners in the Urban Track consortium (see "LCC-Calculation - Tool" in the left menu).This tool is accessible free of charge. The tool also provides a help desk system where users can leave "tickets" for problems and issues they encountered.

A first LCC calculation workshop has been held in Frankfurt on June 9th/10^th, 2008 where in particular the Urban Track partners from SPs 1 and 2 had the opportunity to have a first hand glance at the new tool and were introduced to the software's functions in order to allow them to carry out the first LCC calculations until autumn 2008.

A second LCC calculation workshop was held on February 10^th/11^th, 2009 once again in Frankfurt, where SP2 and SP3 partners had the opportunity this time around to learn about the advanced functions of the LCC
